As a former Labor & Delivery nurse and doula who has supported more than 160 births, I don't just know how to document birth. I know birth.
I understand the rhythm of labor and how quickly things can change. I know how to move quietly within a birth space, anticipate the moments that matter, and capture them without interrupting them.
And when I'm also your doula, there's something especially meaningful about combining those roles.
I'm already there—someone you know and trust, someone who understands your preferences, and someone who has walked alongside you as you've prepared for this day. You aren't adding another person to your birth space just to have your story documented.

When hired specifically as your birth photographer, my role is clear: I'm there to preserve your story while respecting the birth team you've chosen.
But I don't leave my birth experience at the door. I understand labor, how to move quietly within a birth space, and how to anticipate meaningful moments without disrupting them. Your doula remains your doula. Your medical team remains your medical team. And I get to concentrate on capturing all the pieces of your story you might otherwise miss.
